About Markets & Shopping For Sunshine Coast Hinterland
Take a nice drive to a local market in the Hinterlands every Sunday or occasional Saturdays. The local markets make trips worthwhile with great crafts and produce to choose from. The Hinterland Market is an arts & crafts market run by some local ladies who combined forces to make a great shopping experience for locals as well as visitors to the Hinterland. There motto is, “If they grow it, bake it or make it, we have it here at Hinterland Market,” and they do. Another day of shopping can be fun at the Glasshouse Mountains Community Hall on the next trip out. You’ll find something for everyone here.
All year long, festivals and markets abound, like the Huckleberry Market, a baby and children’s handmade market, or the Caroline Springs Summersault Festival with carnival rides and kids entertainment. Kris Kringle Night Market is a free event with hand crafted designs from locals, or places like the Tamborine Mountain Country Market, Healthy Life or Rainforest Health can be found in the Hinterland.
